Walking around Venice always holds surprises for me. The other day, while enjoying a coffee in a charming corner of Cannaregio, my eyes caught something that would transform my weekend: a sign advertising a clandestine exhibition in a palazzo-turned-art gallery.

I love going there in the morning to select fresh produce, from fish and seafood to seasonal fruits and vegetables. Plus, the opportunity to discover local specialties and chat with the vendors about their products makes me feel connected to the culture and culinary history of Venice. It's a place I recommend to anyone who wants to experience the authenticity of Venetian life.

Walking along the Fondamenta delle Zattere is one of my favorite relaxing activities. The breathtaking views of the Giudecca canal are simply unparalleled. The tranquility of the place, especially at sunset, offers a respite from the tourist hustle and bustle and provides a perfect space to reflect and enjoy the beauty of Venice. The Cicchetti Tour is one of my favorite culinary activities in Venice. Walking around Venice always leads me to discover unexpected wonders. Recently, while crossing a little-known bridge in Castello, I noticed a small door ajar in an ancient wall. Curiosity led me to enter and I found an enchanting secret garden, full of flowers and hidden statues.
