The first stop will be the information point at the Les Olles Lagoon, where you'll receive an introduction to the Ebro Delta, covering its history, geology, and designation as a Natural Park. From there, following the edge of the Les Olles Lagoon, you'll head towards the rice fields. The tour continues to the lagoon's birdwatching hide, where binoculars will be provided for birdwatching. The visit then proceeds along the edge of Fangar Bay towards the Goleró, a former arm of the Ebro River and a site where seagrass balls accumulate, a result of the presence of Posidonia oceanica. Next, we'll explore the green filter, a wetland that filters the water before it reaches the Mediterranean Sea—a charming area that is home to all kinds of birds, including flamingos! From the viewpoint, you'll be able to admire the vastness of Fangar Bay and its mussel farms. The last stop will be at the Illa de Mar Port, where you will learn about mussel and oyster production, the daily struggles involved, the environmental challenges, and the exquisite quality of these products.
