How to get there? By car: If you are traveling on the A4 or IP4 towards Amarante, take the AMARANTE OESTE exit. You will reach a roundabout and continue straight ahead. Then follow the signs for FREGIM/LIVRAÇÃO on the right. Follow the signs for AQUATIC PARK. By bus: There are direct buses to the center of Amarante; just take the Rodoamarante connection to the park.

More information

Amarante Water Park was created in 1994, part of the Tamega Clube resort complex, which covers over 44,000 m2. In addition to the water park, it also includes a group of rural tourism cottages, a gym, an event center, and a wave pool. The park was the first water park in the north of the country and has always been a leader not only in size but also in the variety of its attractions. It is considered the largest mountain water park in the Iberian Peninsula, making it a landmark not only in Portugal but also in Spain and for all visitors to the country.
