A visit to the Oceanário de Lisboa is a unique experience that allows you to see and feel the unforgettable magic of the underwater world. Embark on a contemplative journey to discover 8,000 marine creatures of 500 different species.

The permanent exhibition (Aquarium) celebrates life on Earth with a central 5 million litre saltwater aquarium surrounded by four marine habitats representing the habitats of the North Atlantic, Antarctic, Temperate Pacific and Tropical Indian Ocean, creating the illusion of being in a single aquarium and a single ocean.

The visit takes place on two levels, terrestrial and underwater, crossing the temperate, tropical and cold waters of the different oceans of the planet.

You can also discover the "Sunken Forests", a work by the master Takashi Amano that introduces us to tropical forests through the largest "nature aquarium" in the world, and the new exhibition "Sunken Universe", an immersive journey into the immensity of the ocean.
