The Monastery of Sant Cugat is one of the greatest exponents of medieval art in Catalonia. The Cloister is considered a jewel of Romanesque sculpture, one of the most important in Europe, and one of the best preserved. The decoration of its 144 unique capitals stands out. The Church is a privileged place to clearly observe the transition from Romanesque to Gothic.
