Medicinal Botanical Garden - Ecoherbes Park in Tarragona

Located in the municipality of l’Ampolla (Tarragona), Ecoherbes Park is the only botanical garden in Catalonia with 20,000m2 and more than 400 species of aromatic and medicinal plants. A unique space just a few kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea and the Ebro Delta.

The facilities have a large bank of their own seeds and a nursery for the reproduction of the species, in order to achieve better adaptability and high organoleptic quality genetics in the cultivated plants.

During the guided tour, an expert guide in the garden will accompany you during the tour and will offer you the opportunity to discover, in an interactive way, a world of sensory experiences in terms of aromas, flavours, textures, colours and properties of plants, in their current and historical uses, and in various civilisations.

Opening hours Summer: 1 June – 30 September. Tuesday to Saturday: Mornings 10am – 1pm, Afternoons 4:30pm – 7pm. Autumn, Winter, Spring: 1 October – 12 November and 15 March – 31 May. Tuesday to Saturday: Mornings: 10am – 2pm, Afternoons: 3pm – 5pm. Sundays and holidays Mornings: 10am – 2pm. Closed on non-holiday Mondays.
