Ibiza Botanical Biotechnology - BIBO PARK

The Biotechnological Botanical Ibiza – BIBO PARK is a multifunctional space where nature and biotechnology are combined in a new way, unique in Europe and, possibly, in the rest of the world. You will be able to play the Plant Piano, unique in the world, based on the interaction between humans and plants to create light and sound.

You will find more than 25,000 plants of 160 different species, some of them endemic and others even extinct in the Pitiusan natural environment, and you will learn about some of the latest generation biotechnological devices, such as the microalgae photobioreactor, the atmospheric water generators, the Bioo Panel or batteries. biological, the Bio Sensors and the magnificent Vegetable Piano, unique in the world.

You will also be able to see how a typical Mediterranean salt mine works from a replica built with material from the Ibizan salt mines and discover three ancient beehives and learn how they are used to produce honey.
