Just a few minutes from Passeig de Gràcia, the Museu Tàpies connects the modernist Barcelona of Lluís Domènech i Montaner, one of the great masters of Catalan Modernism alongside Gaudí, with the contemporary Barcelona of Antoni Tàpies. Located in one of the first Modernist buildings in the Eixample district, a short walk from Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, it offers a unique experience where architecture, heritage, and contemporary creation converse in the same space.

Created by Antoni Tàpies to preserve and disseminate his legacy, the museum invites visitors to discover the evolution of his work through exhibitions that trace the different stages of his artistic career and a temporary program featuring prominent Catalan and international artists.

The visit is rounded out with unique spaces such as the specialized library and Núvol i cadira, the emblematic sculpture that crowns the building and has become one of the museum's most recognizable symbols.
