Built at the height of the Cold War, the Berlin Wall was the most visible symbol of a world divided between capitalism and communism, under the constant shadow of the nuclear threat. With over 200 original artifacts, the exhibition "The Berlin Wall: A Divided World" traces its history through the testimonies of Berliners who lived through the division, the direct confrontation between the superpowers in the city, and the global perspective of the Cold War.
