About Europa Park

Europa Park is considered one of the best theme parks in Europe with over 5 million visitors a year. It has almost 100 attractions for all ages, 16 rollercoasters, 50 restaurants, 6 hotels and countless shops. In addition, the theming, architecture and vegetation of all the themed areas will make you feel like you are visiting the country. They offer unique and amazing spaces.

Stroll through the streets of Holland, discover the legends and myths of Iceland or visit the majestic Russian empire, among many other European countries. Don't doubt for a moment. At Europa Park, you will find all kinds of emotions.

Before you go, you should know...

Europa Park is located in Rust, Germany. If you are travelling by car, take the A5 motorway towards Frankfurt and exit at junction 57B-Rust. Please note that there is a parking fee.

If you are travelling by plane, the closest airports to Europa Park are the airports of Strasbourg, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden and Basel. From these airports, you will find a shuttle bus that goes directly to the park. We recommend you book in advance.

Once at Europa Park, there are lockers at the entrance, vending machines and a medical service. Europa Park will accept your dog into the park and will provide you with bags for the toilets and 15 watering places which are distributed throughout the different themed areas.

Europa Park is a very large park. It has an infinite number of attractions and spectacular areas. We recommend that you allow at least two days for your visit. Bring comfortable shoes and a change of clothes.

There is no FastPass service. However, the size of the park and the number of attractions means that queues are not too long. Start your day in the most remote area of the park. You will find fewer people there.

Attractions not to be missed

  • Blue Fire, a high-speed roller coaster.
  • Wodan Timbur Coaster, a wooden roller coaster that combines extreme sensations with the smoothness of its trains.
  • Silver Star, one of the highest in Europe, with a hilly ride.
  • You'll love Poseidon. It's a combination rollercoaster and boat ride inspired by the adventures of Ulysses.
  • Atlantica SuperSplash, in Portugal.
  • Matterhorn Blitz, a quirky roller coaster that takes you through a farm.
  • Schweizer Bobbahn, where you slide on a Swiss sled around an ice rink.
  • Finally, two space missions await you at Euro Mir and Eurosat. You will be recruited for a mission to repair the space station and take part in the Apollo 11 programme to reach the moon.

For the whole family

There is a wide range of attractions for all the family, all fully themed and with stories that you are sure to love. Don't miss: Voletarium, a state-of-the-art attraction that lets you fly through different European countries. And don't miss Arthur in the Kingdom of the Minimoys, a family rollercoaster adventure through the Minimoy world. Other family roller coasters include Alpenexpress, a train that takes you through the Alps at full speed and reveals all the secrets hidden in a mysterious cave, and Pegasus, another family roller coaster that takes you on board this mythical creature as it flies over an archaeological site in Greece.

If you prefer quieter rides, there's nothing like the view of the whole park from the Euro Tower. Or discover the secrets of the spooky Geisterschloss castle.

For the kids, there's a new area, Ireland, with plenty of attractions to keep them entertained. There are rollercoasters such as the Ba-a-a-a Express, a tractor ride around Old Mac Donald's farm, a merry-go-round and Limerick Castle, a castle to explore with plenty of adventure.

Where to eat

When it's time to eat, you can choose from 50 different restaurants located throughout the park. In each area you will find restaurants serving traditional food from that country. There are also international restaurants and snack kiosks. The most impressive restaurant is FoodLoop, which serves international food delivered to your table on a system of rails that run along the roof of the restaurant. It's like a rollercoaster! We recommend you try this restaurant at least once. You'll love it.

Among many other dishes, you can try typical French cuisine in the Bistrot La Cigale; Dutch specialities in the BamboeBaai; freshly baked pizzas, pasta with different sauces, antipasti and many other typical Italian products in the Pizzeria Venezia and the best gyros in the TavernaMikonos in Greece with an excellent view of the Poseidon attraction.

The best thing about eating at Europa Park is that the prices are not exorbitant, the food is of the highest quality, the dishes are freshly prepared and the portions are generous. The restaurants are well worth a visit.

Is it allowed to bring food in? Yes, Europa Park allows you to bring your own food. You can only eat in the special outdoor picnic areas. Glass containers are not allowed.
